Make It Happen....

    When Doris Green needs to organize a breakfast or luncheon meeting, she doesn't panic. She simply picks up the phone and calls Jayme Bilyeu of Pamper'd Palate Catering. She's been doing it that way for more than 5 years and she couldn't be happier with the results.

     "The food is excellent and her company has made my job a lot easier," said Green, assistant to the director of the Kansas City Water Services Dept. "Prior to calling Pamper'd Palate, I was running into the grocery store before work and trying to set up meetings for 50 - now I just place a call and they help me with menu selections and themes. It has really taken the stress off."   

Jayme Bilyeu started Pamper'd Palate nearly 15 years ago. With her love of cooking, knack for party planning, and a bubbly personality, Bilyeu has become one of Kansas City's top caterers.

    Hers is not a business of mass-producing food. In fact, it's just the opposite. Every menu is prepared under the guidance and supervision of executive chef, Julie Lopez.

    Pamper'd Palate Catering offers everything from boxed lunches to gala dinners, including theme parties and holiday events. When she first opened the business, Bilyeu could count the number of events she catered on one hand. Now, she has a full staff that includes an executive chef and sous-chef.

"Being creative is what I do," Bilyeu said. "I can satisfy even the most picky palate. Our motto is 'Make It Happen.' We take into account your tastes, budget and dietary restrictions to coordinate your event. Our commitment is to make your event unforgettable."

    When Arlene Ladegaard, an interior designer from Leawood wanted to make a Mexican Fiesta for business associates. Bilyeu was ready to accommodate her from the Mexican salsa to brightly colored umbrellas and cloth that set the table. "The table was so inviting, I just screamed come and enjoy," Ladegaard said. "The food was delicious and the setting was so much fun. Jayme is very good at what she does."

    Bilyeu said truly great parties are the culmination of appreciating the client's expectations and then working together to create an outstanding event. Pamper'd Palate does everything for the client including menu preparation, decorations, food set up, hiring bartenders and servers, as well as picking up dishes and serving pieces after the party.
